I'm reposting this from a post at Starshipmodeler. This guy is building the Cain Robot from Robocop 2. I'm posting it in the prop forum because it's a replica of the stop motion robot. It's pretty cool so far.

I think that is the part that impressed me the most. As I was scrolling down through it, I was thinking, "yeah, and if I had a whole machine shop at my disposal I might could do something cool too" and then to see his "machine shop" consisted of two pretty unimpressive pieces... unbelievable. I honestly don't know that I have ever seen anything quite like that!

I thought that was the depressing part... :lol

I see stuff like this, then I'm surprised when someone sees something I made and think I'm extremely talented. I'm thinking "Huh? You haven't seen what this guy did."

That's not a drill press, its something comparable to a Sieg X2 mini-mill. Damn impressive thou since there's no digital read outs on the mill. I'd have gone cross-eyed staring at the crank dials making parts that small.

Guy builds custom airsoft guns too, they are sick. FYI its not a drill press but an end mill.
