RIP William Smith

The dreaded Falconetti of Rich Man, Poor Man. One of the screen's great heavies. A good turn in Red Dawn as the bad Russkie officer. Always enjoyed seeing him, and he worked a lot.

Rest easy.

I just realized he was Conan's father! Just a cameo appearance and his gravitas set the tone for that entire movie. Rest in peace Mr. Smith.

One of my favorite actors. He was fluent in Russian so he was perfect as the Spetsnaz Officer in RED DAWN.

Even his cameo in THE OUTSIDERS was great.

Talk about a working actor. He somehow wasn't in Battlestar, but he was in Buck Rogers, along with just about everything else. Condolences to his family.
