Robert Forster, a prolific character actor who was nominated for an Oscar for Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown," died Friday in Los Angeles.

A great character actor. I still can't believe that even today, some people still think Jackie Brown is a bad movie. It's still shocking to me.

Looking at his illness I wonder if thats why his character died in Last Man Standing. He came back as a hallucination for Tim allen to work out a few issues with him as his dad.

When that episode was announced I first thought he had died then, and was relieved to see he was still around and appeared in the episode.
