I will always remember him as "Anjin-san" in Shogun.

Shogun for sure, I liked him in that and a girlfriend I had at the time had a thing for him in Thorn Birds. I guess as we get older we forget that the people we grew up with onscreen were mostly already older than us, yet it's always a bit jarring when you hear of their passing. I personally know none of them but would say a big thank you for the years of their company

I liked him in The Count of Monte Cristo and The Man in the Iron Mask.

Not sure why, but I mostly remember him from "Island Son", very short lived show.
