Many might not know the name, but most of us have seen his work. The notorious Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (to which all Electric Boogaloos owe their existence), Star Trek: Generations and Voyager, Overboard, Colors... Quite a few, back into the '70s. He was a wonderful guy, has forgotten more about cameras than I'll ever know, and has been a tremendous part of my local community for years. I just finished working sound for his memorial, and realized I wanted to say something here, too.

I loved the look he gave to the Enterprise D interior in Generations; with natural sunlight being used as the primary key light through the porthole windows. It gave the sets a real rich cinematic quality. It’s probably my favorite thing about that movie.
