Finally got my display together for my Fellowship of the Ring Ringwraith. I still have tweaking to do but it's starting to look like I want it to.

Looks awesome! I see you got Scifi props gauntlets and Darksword greaves and sabbatons. Where did you get the belts and scabbards?

I made the belts/frog and buckles myself and the scabbards were made by a guy I found on Etsy A guy from spain. I Custom cut the chape on the scabbard tip and added the points. Then weathered it. I haven't shown it yet, but I have the 4th Nazrul sword too, the one with the ring in the blade. I got a sword similar in shape from a maker online, then altered it, added the steel ring, weathered it, altered it's scabbard to make room for the ring. Turned out nicely.

This bottom pic is the pattern I created in a 3D software and then printed. I took the pattern and molded in a high heat silicon, then bought a mini forge and poured the moulds in white metal. Voila!!! Buckles. Cut and dyed/embossed the belts and silver leafed the details.

Wow, your scabbards and belt are amazing! I've wanted the 4th Nazgul sword for awhile now - do you know if that is still available? I also really like your sword wall display. Great work all around :D

This is the sword I used for my 4th nazgul sword, Ebay ID: 191610804370

it takes hours worth of work to get it to what mine looks like, but it has the correct overall shape for conversion. I shortened and made the blade more pointed. Lots of changes. I drilled the pommel and added the spikes, I changed the shape of the guard. I'm also planning to re-wrap the handle with a second layer of leather. Eventually.

Thanks for the link. It's essentially a Bormomir sword with a lot of mods done. Something to consider down the road.

Buy your steel washer from the hardware store and take it and your blade to a welder. Give them a pic of the original sword at 1:1 scale with the blade you give them so they can match the look. Mine is only epoxied as it's for show and not use. I do wish it were welded together though. Same for the pommel, let them add the spikes to the pommel and let them re-shape and add the mini-blades to the guard.
