Ridley Scott Prometheus: NOT the Alien Prequel Details

As long as people post links or hide stuff in spoiler tags, I'm okay. I'm spoiler-free from here on out, have been for a couple weeks now.

Listening to the soundtrack now. It does make use of the unused main theme originally written by Jerry Goldsmith (also used during the Nostromo landing)

Did you sign up for that? I'm kind of adverse to things like that. But, anything cool waiting if I do it this time?

I think the first time so blatantly tied to the film, yes. I've seen that logo before though, somewhere.

I like the way they used it.

So are the "Space Jockey's" the same size as humans in this movie? I could never really grasp the concept of them being so large (as far as the "Alien" movie goes).

I like puzzles and games.. but I abhor Rubix Cubes. The games are fun but I don't enjoy the RC's so that's where my fun ended. If anyone gets passed the last test, let me know what's on the other side.

comparison - if the following is indeed a space jockey - link:

possibly spoilerish

I really hope it's not a proper SJ though. I kind of wish they weren't really going there at all - I've never encountered anything in movies that evokes quite the uneasy/intriguing feeling that the space jockey does.

Yeah, this viral campaign feels very much like the Dharma stuff they did for LOST.

"Flynn Lives" was the best viral campaign I've participated in. I got a ton of cool free stuff in the mail.

I would HATE it if I missed out on any free Prometheus stuff.

Could not agree more! Than again I'm a huge H.R. Giger fan, so I'm kinda biased!

I have not read a confirmation that Giger is dirctly involved, just some renderings, and
such. Then again, he cannot get as involved with movies now days. Which is a shame, because his determination of perfection (along with Ridley Scott) made one of the best
Horror, Sci-Fi movies of all time. That's just my opinion!

So I think I may have to go to the movies for this one!

OK, so I may be mistaken about the guns in the film. I figured those 22 pistols would be the extent of it, and that we would not see long gun props or rifles of any kind. Well, this is a photo from the EW article I found online today and I think that guy in the background has a rifle.

Obviously, pretty dark so it could be something other than a weapon. But, we may have a whole new prop gun to look forward to. :)
