RT @NicolasSlomka just got out of a midnight #Prometheus screening in Paris. So awsome a guy actually had a panic attack in the audience!

I understand someone's misery of being in a panic attack is not something to be cheering about. But in relation to the film you can't help but feel good that Ridley Scott has released a film without compromising his vision to scare the crap out of the audience.

Do we know why the guy had a panic attack though? Maybe he found a nail clipping in his popcorn or the guy in front kept checking his cell phone. The latter is definitely something that gets me twitchy and will be on my mind when watching Prometheus.

I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but I keep checking back wanting someone who has seen it to post that it was everything they hoped for and more, like the Avengers.

RT @colliderfrosty: PROMETHEUS is the type of big budget sci-fi that studios rarely make. Extremely well done. Don't read reviews. Just go see it.

Spoiler free reviews or not, anyone is risking their movie experience trying to read reviews for Prometheus. This is one movie of 2012 that we should not wait to check via reviews to see if it's good enough. But I do understand the urge to know if the buzz is extremely positive for the movie as we all hoped for. Another week of waiting isn't helping the cause either.

I hope Ridley's return to sci-fi does so well that the Blade Runner sequel is moved up on his priority list. I would hate for him to put it off and eventually someone else makes it.

Youch... one review said it was entertaining like Avatar. I think I would rather them say it was a horrible train wreck than hear it compared to Avatar...
