:ninjaG'day Folks:ninja,

Sarednab and I thought we would post a teaser picture or two of our collaboration on a new revised Book Of Secrets replica. To quote Sarednab directly after printing the first copy

"Ok!!!!! Finally, my 8 months of work take a form! I'm really really happy with this final print/aged version... I love it!
When you take it in your hands it seems really old than 200 years!!!" :thumbsup

There's alot of revisions and changes that have gone into this the "final and never again version" lol I do have to say I am completely happy with it now and am pleased to be working alongside such a talented and humble artisian. If you thought his grail diaries were good wait till you get a load of this lol

Anyways as I said.....this is more a preview not an interest thread. But more pictures will go up here as we get closer and closer to completion of the prototype:)

Comments, Critique and finger pointing welcome chums :confused

Ohhhhhhhh this looks like it is going to be amazing! Absolutely beautiful work. The script is great.

More information soon right? ;) :thumbsup

Nice job guys, the ink even appears to be slightly raised. What type of printing process are you using?

No no, ink isn't raised, it seems a light effect.
All pages in our BoS was printed in color with a high quality laser print (print price is 16000€, a VERY HIGH quality printer!), same printer that I use for my Grail Diary (but in Grail Diary all pages is b&w, only a few in color). More detail will come soon...

Mate, I thought the first ones looked great. You have taken this one up a whole new level, great job you two

Yeah, Sarednab has worked very hard on this to prove me wrong that a font can't mimic handwriting well. He's done the best I've seen with using a hand-writing font to simulate the real thing. It's a pet-peeve of mine, but he has done a really fantastic job with laying out the text for this replica. Bravo!

Kind regards,
Indy
