Resident Evil: Retribution - Alice

Here's hoping you can find some. I suppose just one set would do if you have the ability/desire to cast up quite a few copies.

I sadly dont have the ability even if i I had the desire. The place I emailed did email me back and their £25 (just over $30 I think) for a set. So pretty expensive. Might just have to buy them as and when I can afford them.

I so want to do this for DragonCon '13... do you think if one were to buy just one kit and cast the rest that it could pass? It looks like the costume doesn't use the full strap part...

Hi everybody,
I was looking everywhere on google to find out , how i can create this costume,
unfortunately there´s no such thread in German so I give my very best in English ;)
The fox buckles are also out of stock in Germany (seems everybody is trying to create this costume :p ), so i bought other fox buckles an painted them silver, luckily I got a huge discount.
For the catsuit I bought a bodysuit on Amazon , cut off the head and the fingers.
So.... I´m almost done ;)
I´ve just problems with the buckles on the Boots... I want to wear them again after using the costume, but how can i fix them on the Boots without destroying them ???
Thanks already for your help! =)

I'm having trouble finding boots similar to this. Any tips?

I haven't seen anything concrete regarding the boots... I was hoping the costume would be auctioned off like the Afterlife costumes were. I learned good info from those auctions.

From only watching the movie and looking at screenshots, I would guess whatever the base boot was, is completely covered with a dive neoprene fabric. I also noticed the Fox buckles are attached slightly different than the rest of the costume. IIRC, they do not have the black backing piece attached. Just the silver buckle.

Just seen this whilst researching the cossy and have to say nice find with the buckles!! thats a huge help many thanks for finding them ;)

Nice buckles, it's a shame there are pricey...

And any clue about the fabric rubber-like used? Spandex rubber-like peals off if worn too tight, I'm looking for something similar for a costume I'm working on and I'm stuck there.

In my search for some appropriate Black Widow fabric, I found this: Polyester Lycra Laminate. I ordered a sample of it and a few others. They arrived shockingly fast, considering they started in Oregon and ended in Newfoundland!

It's a rubberized laminate, and the base is a white, woven textured poly-lycra. The closest comparison might be a good pair of rubber gloves, but it seems to have a little more stretch than that. I've stretched the crap out of the sample, even poking it with my fingernails, and nothing is peeling, flaking, or separating. When it's stretched, you can see a little of the texture of the lycra beneath, but from a distance, it'd be indistinguishable from a plain matte surface.

I'll be really curious to see how this turns out! Good luck!

The boots to me look like they are covered with a wetsuit neoprene. I would guess this was added by production due to how it wrinkles in some spots.

For my boots I am planning on trying suede over the knee wedge heeled boots, my theory is with ALL those buckles covering the boots themselves it should still have the same overall look...?? well thats plan A lol

Sidi Touring Lug Soles - Street Motorcycle - Motorcycle Superstore

The Sidi Touring Lug Soles have a VERY similar lug pattern. Either props used an older (than this 2012) model sole, or they took a cast of the soles and molded them on to the prop boots. That ridge running just around the inside edge of the sole looks like it could have formed from suction during premature de-molding, which would also explain the radial lug pattern running together in to the single lugs visible, instead of the two distinct sets evident on the Sidi model.

From the looks of the outfit on the mannequin, it seems the armbands aren't attached to the sleeves: they're much higher on the arm (above her biceps) when worn by "Alice," and are on or below the elbow pad when displayed on the Mannequin.

Thanks for the info concerning the buckles. This was very helpful for me when constructing my Alice costume for Halloween / Dragon*Con this year. :D

Hi.

I found this thread because I want to create an Alice inspired crossplay outfit. The buckles of the outfit I want to 3d print does anybody know if there is a 3d model of them?

Do you guys have any pictures of the final result?
