I know in the grand scheme of the quality of work that many of the talented folks on this board show this isn't a masterpeice, I don't really have those skills, yet.
However since I purchased this kit here in the Junkyard (Thanks, WhiteCommando.) and finished it - unlike many of my "projects" - I figured I would share.

That's a big gun. You did a nice job building it. I do have one suggestion: weather it. Age it. It's too pristine for a SW Universe blaster. A silver paint pen works well to add the effect of years of use. I believe someone has a tutorial on weathering, perhaps someone could chime in with the url..?

It actually is weathered, you just can't see it in the picture (it came out a little dark) but it looks "well used" in person.
It is a big gun, makes displaying it a little rough :eek But I really liked the look from the moment I saw it on screen. And for $80 I could not pass up the change to add it to the collection.
