Report that Harrison Ford in (serious) condition after plane crash.

I'm reading that he has already survived two plane crashes before this. Wow, I think one would be enough for me.

Well, as the old saying goes, any landing you can walk away from is a good one although it's not entirely certain he actually walked away from this landing or if he was wheeled out.

Maybe he did it to try and get out of doing Blade Runner 2.

I have a similar theory.

It's well known that Harrison Ford hoped Han Solo would die at the end of ROTJ...and even ESB. I think he's been rooting for that character to kick the bucket for years. But then -- CURSES!! -- a new Star Wars trilogy is announced and he's given more money than God to be in it! At first, he was fine with it, but as the shooting wore on, those old impulses returned. "Must...kill...Han Solo.........MUST....KILL....HAN SOLO.....)

I think this is all part of a clever plan he has to ensure that he's unavailable to continue filming. If he can sufficiently injure himself to not be able to play the part...but not be so injured that he's permanently incapacitated...he'll have achieved his goal.

The first phase of the plan was the "door incident." Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to get him out of the whole sequel trilogy, so he decided to up the ante.

I'm not sure which crash was better. This or the lead-lined fridge?

THIS JUST IN - Although it's still very early in the investigation, the F.A.A. has released a still photo (taken from surveillance video) of what they believe may have led to the crash:

Or, if the movies were clever, they kill off the whole OT crew in the new movie.

to be honest i was thinking the same thing

He did the right thing. Flying vintage wings is always more riskier and that's a fact. Seems like the landing gear collapsed upon landing (which is good; you don't want your plane to overturn on top of you:eek) Hoping for a quick recovery.

NTSB will have the final say.
He certainly has had years of free time and tons of money to train and build hours in any aircraft he likes.
