It was his own fault for letting Connery take the tailgunner seat.

I'm glad he's pretty much ok, both on general principle, and losing two sci-fi legends in a week would be just too much.

Oh I totally use humor to cope with those things that have to do with myself and life all the time. I just think that until I hear from the source that he's fine I tend to refrain from the jokes....... unless of course it's Justin Bieber.

Watching the press conference now. It sounds like he's going to be OK as the injuries were not life-threatening.

It's interesting reading some of the press. Some make it sound like he was near death being wheeled off in a stretcher, others say he walked off with just a couple of bruises.
who knows what to beleive anymore.

in other news, can disney please put it in the contract not to do anything dangerous? Did no one learn from the big bopper incident?

News is he is alert and active, so looks like just got a bit banged up. He is a pretty accomplished pilot. Golf courses are great emergency landing areas. Looks like the plane dug in a bit on the landing. Prop probably caught in the ground towards the end of the roll and made it take more damage right at the end unfortunately. Those older aircraft are built well but they are still a light air frame and it does not take much to damage them. Not as bad of a landing as it looks.

Oh man, he can't catch a break, the guy just broke his ankle not long ago and now this.

If he is going to be in more Star Wars films Disney better put in a clause that does not allow him to do dangerous stuff.
Hopefully he will be OK.

And Mr. Ford you are 73. Stop flying around in airplanes older than you.:facepalm
