Helmet complete, now waiting on the armour....

Starting to get the pouches together, all are from AliExpress and all up cost $30 AUD delivered. Really happy with the look of them as they are similar to the screen used ones (which were custom for the film) trying to find the grenade pouches but can’t seem to locate a similar one.

Just got my gaiters, can’t wait to modify these, going to go to Bunnings and buy some 25mm cam buckles and a roll of 25mm nylon webbings

Looks good. If you darken the 'vents' on the helmet it would make them pop more and improve the look. Just a suggestion,

Yes I am, and the armour itself, I was thinking a dusty look for them, due to the Planets being barren in the films

You can do a wash of whatever colour is prevallent in the environment. I'm thinking a tan desert colour wash. You can even do the vent lines with a thin permanent marker provided you are careful. Look on YouTube for videos on weathering armour. Start off doing a light weathering first. It is easy to get carried away.
