Removing haze/scratches on MR case cover?

I used German made QUIXX acrylic glass scratch remover on my MR display case but created a haze, it's actually worst now, how do I eliminate this? I polished but can't seem to go away. I used this same product to remove fine scratches on my Mp3 player and worked perfect. what's the best product for MR display cases?

There is a method using a sequence of glass paper, brasso, t-cut, lighter fluid and polishing cloths. Not 100% on which to use in what order tho. Maybe someone here can chime in?
