Red Squadron Helmet Art

Is there a good source or ten for the artwork seen on the helmets of Red Squadron in ANH? I see some threads in the archive of some great looking paint jobs, but I'm wondering where they're getting their info, because you pretty much only see the front and top of these cats heads in the movie.

Many images of the helmets have been published in Star Wars-branded books, and in magazines. There have also been HD broadcasts (!) of the movies that people have captured.

Here are two sources of files that you could print. Scroll down a little bit to find the files.
Parts of Star Wars: www.partsofsw.com/reference.htm
TK560: www.tk560.com/howtoguides.html

There are also pictures of real helmets on www.starwarshelmets.com. A great resource! However, only the Rebel "bird" and the "radio lines" decals are on those helmets.

Even with screen caps the characters are frequently turning their heads in the cockpit so you often get good side views and sometimes the rear of the mohawk.Wedge and Luke of course appear in the other films so there's more details available from there.

Biggs carries his helmet when talking to Luke so you can see the mohawk and rear checkerboards and you can even see the different versions of mohawk paintschemes that Luke had in different scenes......he really should have been spending time in the simulator instead of painting his helmet though
