Red Jammer Y-WING build by dtssyst

I ran out of tubes. I must order more.
So, that means I work on lighting the cockpit next.

The photo shows my progress of the tubes (yes... they are all metal).

It took me all day yesterday to get the cockpit lit with led lights. I will hopefully get the cockpit installed by the end of the week if not sooner. Fiber optic size is .25 mm. Three of the gauges will also be lit.

The 1/8 brass rod was not easy to bend. Not to mention to do it twice. They are installed and the back plate is still removable so one can access the battery compartment.

I was able to install the cockpit today.

Some white lights are solid and a few flash. There are four red lights that flash fast. The three screens are solidly lit.

The tubes I ordered are in. I'll get to finish the pipes soon.

Then... I get to paint and weather. Trim the fibers flush and it dill be done.

A tease with the canopy just resting in place.

Dang that thing looks good -- can't wait to see the final finished result -- PLEASE share a video of your cockpit lights blinking on and off.

I was thinking that I may, emphasis may, try to do a painting video and or videos when I paint this (not a tutorial).

Note:
Only one camera. Hence one camera angle.
All videos would be available in 4K.
It will take a bit longer to upload any videos as I would have to edit them first (yes, I have the software and computer power to do so).

Questions for those watching this build...
Is there any interest in this?
Are there any thoughts, ideas and or suggestions if I venture down this road?
