Since I started this game on PS4, I often see this object all over the place, but it cannot be picked up to photograph and examine it. I'm sure we can get a better view, but overall I'm doing pretty well.

There are plenty of letters and notes and books explaining the story of each character, it's a work of days and nights to extract all these documents from the game and to classify them.
The Wheeler Rawson & Co catalog is in great demand but I regret to say that the files are not complete and scattered all over the place, difficult to copy and paste and say "and there you go, it's free".

They are ripped from the game files. It's original games files, recreating is too much work for this amount of papers props.

Neat. I've not encountered anything like that in the game. Can you share a link to learn how to rip the game files? I'd like to do something like that myself.

You don't find those maps ? Where are you in the game ?

Oh, I've already completed it once. I play on XBox, but I'd download the PC version if it allowed me to explore the files. I was just curious if there was a program you use to explore the files, or how that worked.

I didn't know there were any in-game resources that showed you were the legendary animals were, I always just looked at maps online.

You meet someone who gives you the map.

I don't play Online, it is an option of the story mode, there is "legendary animals" and "legendary fish".
Did you ever catch Dinosaurus bones ? Engravings ? You don't do any secondary quests ?

Oh man, I see it now, I guess Hosea gives it to you on that first hunting mission. I never realized there was an actual in-game map. I'm so used to just searching for extras online. The current playthrough I'm on now, I'm trying to get 100%, I found all the rock carvings, but I keep getting sidetracked, hunting for pelts and finding points of interest.

Howdy cowboys !
I create a kind of "Souvenirs kit" from Arthur Morgan adventures.
The files were screenshots or ripped from the game and completely clean and adapted to be printed.
I am still working on the different business cards.
The kit contains maps, photos, letters, newspaper clip and many other related paper props.
3 maps:
1 x railroad map of the United States (the area of the game)
1 x map of the legendary fish
1 x map of the legendary animals
11 photos:
1 x Arthur's father
1 x Arthur's mother
1 x Arthur's dog
1 x Hosea, Dutch and Arthur
1 x Dutch's gang
5 x Albert Mason's mission
1 x Arthur and Mary
6 x Letters from Mary
1 x paper clip of the Blackwater robbery
1 x Red Rocket cigarettes pack
1 x Millicent's Richmond cigarettes pack
1 x Bounty hunter agent certificate
1 x Tacitus Kilgore Mining Company common stock
1 x Bond of the State of New Hannover
1 x Invitation to the "Annual Champagne Reception" in St Denis
2 x Different Times table

If you are interested to add this to your collection, send me a message. (Considering the number of hours I spent extracting the documents from the game, a small financial contribution would be welcome.)

Been waiting for RDR2 to get the proper prop treatment it deserves on RPF, Fantastic work like always.

After some digging, I found it

It is the The World on Mercators Projection, from The Cyclopaedia or Universal Dictionary of Arts, Sciences, and Literature by Abraham Rees, 1820. This is the best quality photo I could find of it. It can be found at the Library of the University of Texas, at Austin.

EDIT: I found a way higher quality copy of the map HERE.

(also is that a shutterstock watermark on the compass rose?)
