Recent Costume Stuff From Me

Here's the three things I did at DCon this year. I got tired of the rubber Batsuits and the sweat factor. Well, the sweat still played a part, but what the heck.

1) Tom Baker's 4th Doctor I wore this one around a lot and passed out bags of Jelly Babies. The real thing from England. I need a different hat, but everything else worked pretty well.

2) Carl Kolchak, the original one. I wanted to do something to remember Darren McGavin since he passed this year. The hat arrived from Baron Hats on Thursday afternoon around 4:05pm just as I sat down to piece together the ribbon for my back-up hat. Thanks to micdavis for getting me scans of Kolchak's Press Pass so I could make my own.

3) Finally, Tony Clifton. The tux jacket material did not match Kaufman's, but it was a peach colored brocade. I am extremely shy with women (I think you can see why from any normal pic) and it was kind of oddly freeing to be this guy who was a jerk, but could get women to take a pic with him.
