I enjoy collecting the robot from Lost in Space anyone here ever recast the Remco Robot from the 60's? The originals are on ebay all the time but are way out there in price so I'll never own one. Anyone?

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!:thumbsup

Good question. I'd love to get a recast and paint it up to look like they did in "Mechanical Men".

Did one last year and due to cash hassles sold it!! biggest regret, do not sell it once you get it!! big lesson.
Cheers all, Todd.

Great! I hope one of you folks do one cuz I've been wanting one for sometime just for the purpose of painting it up like the LIS episode with the little guys!:thumbsup

Thanks Guys and Happy Thanksgiving!

Mine is safely packed away in the attic. :D

Whats the general price that they have been going for on the Bay?

It varies , you should check completed auctions to gauge off your robots condition and box condition. They were mostly in the 300 range when i was last looking, seems thats jumped about 150-200 since then, give or take.............

I can help out with this project. I've got clear resin casting down pretty darn good. I still have my pressure vessle for casting. All I would need are the originals and I can mold and cast.

Wow!

Thanks kdawg and Mr. Barlow.

No box but mine is as clean as the day I got it those many years ago!!

Sweet! I keep looking at Flea Markets and the like and hope to find but no luck so far but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Even finding one in disrepair would work for me as there are a lot of reproduction parts out there now.

I still have mine too from 1968. Box isn't in the greatest shape tho.

These things go for hundreds of dollars on Ebay.

Hmmm... box isn't that great you say.... I'll give you 100 dollars. I'm in a pretty giving mood this time of year.
