I have discovered a seller on eBay selling unauthorised resin copies of my X-Men First Class Magneto Helmet, I found this item the other night whilst just browsing eBay as I do from time to time.

The seller is UK based, and operates under the username mrbaz100, a quick search of his past sales shows he has sold numerous copies of MY helmet in both kit form and finished painted like so

Having spoken to a few close friends within the prop community it seems this guy is quite a well known recaster and so I would urge anyone to stay away from his dodgy dealings, I spent about a year scratch building this helmet from cardboard and body filler, hard work, so to see this is a real shame, incidentally here is a link to MY original build thread for the helmet.

If anyone here can provide any more information as to the identity of this guy then please feel free to post it up here or send it via a PM, eBay have been informed and action is being taken to hopefully stem the tide of low quality recasts. I am NOT posting this up here to open up a debate on recasting, just wanting to make this public knowledge, many thanks all :thumbsup
