This is awesome, make sure there is enough room for the mask to vent, sweaty masks are never fun.

Wow I really like your build!
Wow!
Two years in making, it is great man!

I see how much it takes to make a sculpt just right to where you want it, Inspiring work!!

Thanks very much! I wish I could actually say I put two dedicated years into him, but really he's been a handful of short sessions spread thinly out over that time. He's close though - I did one of my final texturing sessions last night!View attachment 128703

I'm very nostalgic so normally i dont like people messin with my beloved old school 1st movie style Turtles. But, this looks absolutely incredible! Keep it up man. I LOVE it! Can't wait to see more :)

I tried to give him a very neutral expression - in different lighting and from different angles, he can look angry, serene, serious, happy... I figure any more permanent expression anyone might want can then be sort of baked in and reinforced with the paint job.

Outstanding!!!

As for the expression, he's going to lose a lot of that when the eye mask goes on. (Like your avatar pic) Unless you make the mask conform to the brow and eye sockets.

Michael Keaton's Batman mask was the first I'd seen like that. The mask didn't cover his expression or subdue it. The mask heightened his expression and played off of it.

I was thinking more that it was an expression of great intelligence. Looking into that eye and it felt like a living, breathing, intelligent being.

Totally! I got the same feeling from this piece.

When does class start? MUST LEARN

Hi Deric! Anything in particular you'd like advice on? I'm not sure that I'm one to be teaching anything, but I'll gladly pass on what I can.

I'm a fan of the 1990 movie look, but I'd definitely watch and be happy if your design was chosen for a new flick. In fact... it would lend itself to a more mature telling of the story. This is a take on the character that just feel real.
