Real Star Wars props questions.

I'm looking at Tupperware pitchers that are supposed to be the same used in ANH with the blue milk.

I'm not too sure if these are correct seeing how once we know it was used on star wars, it becomes extremely expensive and hard to find.

The model number was called sweet saver 640.

Is this true.

You can find these on ebay from 5 to 15 dollars.

my one says 640-14 you can see mine here

Yes, these are regullarly listed on evilbay as single units & in pairs, the difficult one to find is the larger one that the blue milk is poured from into the this one.

Nothing says “filmed in the 1970s” quite so well as the use of Tupperware in the production:

That stuff was in EVERY kitchen, in the 1970s.

I was really confused at 0:12 because I was like, "what the hell is that pickle thing?" Then I realized at the end it's just a lock on a cucumber because Tupperware locks in the freshness.

Can you reveal the model number of the pitcher please.

yep it says ( Stewart 288 made in England )
Is there a Tupperware model number or is it still from the sweet saver line.

I understand there are 2 other brands. Unfortunately Stewart ties in with Martha Stewart under searches and Hostess is a popular company or brand that ties into everything

So from research I found there are 3 different companies making this pitcher. However only 2 are showing model numbers.

Hostess and stewart which aren't showing up in searches because of the popularity of each name.

Does anyone know what the tupperware version is. Will it still be sweet saver or a completely different name.

the website link in my last post has this info, don't know if its of any use

Formed in 1945, Stewart is the UK market leader in the manufacture and supply of technical plastic moulded products for the gardening, home and professional catering sectors. The company offers a large range of products in its portfolio ranging from garden planters and propagators, to food containers and specialist storage products. The company employs 70 people.

This is a tough one to track down.. I'm not expecting to find one for 10 dollars , but it would be nice to find a listing or info. I guess people in England aren't big on selling their used stuff.

Sorry if I’ve revived a dead thread but I’ve been trawling the internet for that pitcher for hours, I’ve found things that look similar but aren’t it.

We should get OP to change the title of this thread to a tupperware related thing

Also bump for helping the hunt!

I spent a long time searching Etsy today but no joy yet but incidentally I found the Tupperware toy with the red nozzle like section that was used in the homestead kitchen.

The same model of pitcher is used many times in the cantina scene along with the smaller ‘blue milk’ cup.
