Rambo "Eplosive" arrowheads.

Kurtyboy,
The arrow looks to be aluminum (silver ring behind the point insert), so I would guess Easton. The Nock also looks to have an "E" on it, though it is a small photo. They do not have any current offerings I am aware of that are solid black since they want them branded. Based on the width of the silver stripe in front of the nock, the shaft may be a ground nock swage rather than a nock bushing. If that is the case, you might be able to get most of the markings off an XX75 Tribute shaft, if it is available in the correct size. The way the vanes look makes me think they might be Mylar, and they look to be right helical, though they may just be offset and the way they have been stored is putting the bend in them. If someone can scale the arrow shaft (no nock, no broadhead case) using the broadhead case you can narrow down the likely candidates for arrow shaft size, since they probably did not cut these to length. If nothing else, it will give a minimum length. The dimension for the fitting at the base of the broadhead would be very useful as well, as that could be used to scale the shaft diameter. Here is a site that explains what the aluminum arrow sizes mean. Shooting the Stickbow - Aluminum Arrow Guide Compare that info with Easton's aluminum shaft selector chart and you should have a few options.

Simpson77...it looks like the correct SA ones should be the ones, like Kurtyboys, that has 5 segments instead of the 3 on yours. Are the correct 5 segment ones an earlier or later version?
Aah, I see what you mean. I did read the RAZORBAK 5 were the ones that were used but hey ho. I did wonder about the extra rings on the sleeve, thought they maybe just altered the design a little. Still happy with these though, still going to look badass in my Rambo knife display when finished. Appriciate the info though buddy.

I agree. Only us "Nitpickers" would ever even notice the difference. Nice job! Post a pic when finished, Please! --Ed
I'm also one of those "Nitpickers", hahaha. Part of being a prop geek I suppose, haha. You gotta love it really!!!!;);)

I think they were specially made for the movie : Easton take down arrows. Very rare...

Survival Archery Systems makes a take down arrow that is, I think $25 per arrow. I have no idea how close to the screen used arrows they are.

RAZORBAK.5 case gone, EXPLOSIVE arrowheads case in the works!!!!!!!!!!

I tried all theses options to paint the plastic razorbak 4 cover box :
---Krylon Fusion Bonds to Plastic "Primer"/ Krylon colorMaster Black Satin
---Rust-Oleum ultra cover Flat Black Primer/ Rust-Oleum Flat Black paint
---Tremclad Professional High Performance rust enamel

....all give me the result of paint peeling as soon i touch the box / open it / put (clip) broadheads inside...

May i ask you if you remember what kind of paint you used for your kurtyboy ?
the result is awesome!

EDIT : Did the paint on your box hold or it started to peel like mine ?
