A GFEW HIGH TEC AMMO BOXES,

WOULD REA,LLY LOVE A COUPLE SUROKUS BOMBS
4 FOOT TO 6 FOOT LENGTH FOR A VERY SPECIAL
PROJECT.

i LIVE IN WASGHINGTON STATE, tHESE WOULD BE FOR A MOVIE SET.
A STACKED UP VISUAL ARSENAL OF HIGH TEC WEAPONS. ALL non WORKING

aNY PROBLIMS IN GETTING THESE? ARE THEY A MINT IN PRICE?

I found these practice bombs online; they're listed at $270 each. Good luck. :)

The closest our local suplus store had (before they recently closed...sniff) was a drop tank, probably Navy (it was blue.) I can possibly get you the owner's contact number, but can't say for sure if it sold or not.

Ammo boxes you can probably find. Ordnance is destroyed whether or not it is a dud or not. Training stuff exists, but you are unlikely to find it. Best bet would be to just build the stuff yourself.

Clearly not as there are lower and upper case letters just seem to be the wrong way round :rolleyes.

On topic - Getting a whole arsenal for a film set may be incredibly expensive. Possibly getting a pile of large toy rockets and missiles and spraying them up to look like real weaponary may be your best bet. If you can get any real or accurate looking missiles stick them up in front of the other less accurate ones.

If it is for a movie set is there a chance of hire companies in Hollywood that hire this kind of stuff out. It isn't like there aren't many action movies that have mountains of prop weapons lying about.

You could check if there are any collectors of militaria in your area to see if you could borrow some stuff. There are quite a few forums of deactivated militaria about. It is just about getting somebody local and willing to help. The promise of getting some of their stuff on to the silver screen may be able to attract some help.

Also there may be some traders of militaria that may lend you a pile of stuff for a wee film credit and a tour of a film set in return :)

If they're background pieces and you have the time, you could always draw up plans and build them out of wood, plasdic and whatever you have lying around.

I am thinking a few PVC sections and fins then
an end cap that may have a point to it some how.

Anyone have a conseptual idea of off the shelf, hardware
store pieces?

I am thinking a few ammo voxes, thats easy and then 3 or 4
rockets from 3" to 6" diameter, Flat Green with 4 fins on the bottom, with perhaps a round gasket ring.

As if they are interconnecting the 4 fins.

Maybe a light or "4" off a hidde power supply that plugs in a/c

Maybe a Fin Design or Two for these ?

I work with the real stuff everyday. Are you going for authentic weapons (looks) or something that looks like a rocket but nothing in real life?

I made 4 full size Chinese PL-9 missiles for an airsoft event in May.

I'm looking to sell at least 2 of them.

They have removeable warheads and digital alarm timers.

Can post some picts later.

Ok, I will tell ya what I want (need) I am with help from a few members here, building a 1:1 Iron Man!!!

Beside a "secret project" that will al;so be added... :eek

I plan to have a stack of ammo boxes, also a few rockets or the look of
a "stark industies" items. I cant do the full Jerico set up, just a few misc visuals with the Stark Logo up the sides.

Basically cheap and cool addition!

Thoughts, ideas? Thoughts on creating a stencil???
