Question for Adam from Mythbusters

So, we're watching the dumpster diving episode and I just have to know: what kind of boots are those that you're wearing?! I WANT some so badly! :cool
 
Saw the show too. Adam's boots looked like they were supposed to be substitutes for Neo's boots from the Matrix (i.e.- these were clearly not replicas of "the" boot but a similar style). Here are some that look close to what I remember from the show last night:

These are the FW58 Storm Commando boots from that site. It looks similar to what Adam was wearing but I can't be 100% sure that it is the exact boot.

Yay! You guys are awesome. I'd love to get a pair of these for use in my custom Star Wars bounty hunter costume I want to do down the road. :)

I'm sorry Russ- you're right. The first thing that should come to mind when I think of movie and TV props is Twitter. How dumb of me to do actual searching.

Ha, I bet it was Daljeet's on Haight....
 
Just FYI, the link I posted above for these boots lists them at 129.00 but the shipping is 17.41. Jack's link lists the boots at 134.00 with 12.00 shipping. So the total cost comes out about even and I think it better whenever possible to support another member. So, thank you for the link as well Jack. I'll probably be ordering a pair from your wife soon also.

Doesn't surprise me he found those on Haight St. Nothing better than a day of shopping/eating/hanging on Haight! :thumbsup

Just tell when you order that you are an RPF member and shell knock a little off. Sh has a bunch of cool stuff on the site. I'm curious what other items she sells that Adam also owns. A lot of this stuff is right up his alley.
