basically does a youtube video count?

here is what I am getting at,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wZ5qGQ78io&feature=related

in order to avoid going there for those not wanting to. it is a doctor steel show video. so it is a show but made I believe for youtube only or maybe for a section of a free DVD not sure which. being a video though I am wondering if my prop goggles that are meant to be similar to the willson goggles the doc wears is really what I am getting at. do they qualify for a thread in this forum?

here is a picture of them.

I am going to insert a second pic here and a link to the location of the other pictures in case anyone has questions that better angles of them might answer, but behind this spoiler

Excellent it works :D (sorry I did not see a button to make something a spoiler so I just typed in the BBcode to see)

oh I am also wondering if it is ok to share props that are a derivative work of a real show prop. *like a steam punk version of say a light saber or phase pistol?*

any help and answers would be greatly appreciated.

Those are some cool looking glasses. Though a home made movie on youtube doesn't compare to, say, Star Wars, it still counts as far as a prop replica goes. Heck, people make a big deal out of Dr. Horrible, and as far as I know that's just a little internet video (albiet with famous people). As to you second question, a couple people have displayed steampunk inspired versions of other things around here (lightsabers, etc) so that's cool. Use the search feature and type in "steampunk" and see what you get.
