This site is amazing, but I would like to know...all these props are licenced items from some very large names in the movie business and what not; so how does every one get away with copying licenced props, and to some extent selling there creations with out getting in to some kind of trouble with copy right issues? :confused

Even if he or she used the search button, finding the right thread that will answer the question is like finding a needle in the haystack.

Then again, this topic is like sticking a needle into your eye along with those vader threads haha

Interesting question...

I had a friend get a "Cease and Desist" letter from Lucas Arts in 2003 for a website that used the word "Imperial" in the title, they also created graphics that were very "Star Wars" oriented.:cool

Has anyone here had a similer experience when dealing with or creating props from movies, etc...?

For one thing not every prop here has a Licensee.
