I just watched "legion" and had a couple of questions.

What was the baby's purpose? I know michael said to bring the people into the light....but i still dont understand. Maybe it's just not bibilcal...

When Michael and Gabriel fight at the end....I couldnt understand what the hell they were saying. Was that Angel tongue, or did my dvd just switch to french or somthin? :confused

Dude, don't even try to understand the movie, you'll drive yourself crazy. That movie was the biggest piece of crap I ever watched, I'm pretty sure the guy just made it up as he went along.

all the best bits were shown in the trailer...they then strung it together with non-sense stuff to get 90 minutes. too bad..the plot had so much potential. now the director has Priest coming out.

IMO the studio did a major hatchet job to the film. No doubt there will be a ext-cut released down the line now that a sequel is in the works.

I finally saw it because I had high hopes based on the trailer. Not the worse, Battlefield Earth was that for me, but definitely not worth watching again. At 1st I got the impression the baby was the son of God like ***** but after watching it, I was totally confused.

If you want to watch a really cool movie, check out Soloman Kane.:cool

I dont know, I thought it was the antichrist because for a time during the tribulation hes supposed to bring peace to the world. If studios buy this kinda crap that doesnt even make sense, Im going to start being a screenwriter.

So did I. IMO, this film had some pretty good potential (some solid actors, excellent costuming/props), but somewhere at the beginning, the project went horribly awry.

The angels' armor, Gabriel's mace, even the sound of the trump heralding his arrival, were all top notch. It's a shame.

I wonder if a "director's cut" could fix anything... :thumbsdown

What I got from the movie, as I was walking out of it shaking my head, was that God was cleansing the earth of people (again, I might add..). God and all the angels didn't want to see a human baby, because God might change his mind when he beholds this wonderful thing. So, Michael (Paul Bettany) goes to Earth to protect the last human baby about to be born. He brings it up to God, God changes his mind, and the Angels go back to being servants and subordinates to man. Which they don't want to be anymore. At the end, I think he said that he gave God what he needed, not what he wanted. It really could have been such a better movie if only M. Night Shymalama-ding-dong got his hands on it...:rolleyes

So, the way I saw it was my Brother-in-law came to visit and he brought it.
He LOVES the film.. have no clue why. :lol

Anyway, I told them after watching it almost the same thing I said about year one.
It's like somebody got REALLY stoned, read [a bible story book (for year one), the book of revelation (for legion)] and made a movie out of what they thought they remembered..
:lol :angel
