Question about body casting

Hey guys, one question for you molding freaks (which i'll become soon i hope), do you think that it's worthed to try and do my body casting with materials i buy, guiding friends who never done it before, or it's better to pay semi professionnal persons to do that job (like art students)?

and what is a reasonnable price for you?
