Quantum Leap Flashing "Bracelet"

I would really like to make this bracelet worn by members of Project Quantum Leap. I keep trying to get captures and this is the best I could get:

[attachmentid=9313]

It looks like an extension of the handlink (See my replica here: My Replica Handlink) and flashes like it too. I'd really like to replicate this and was wondering if anyone could:

A) get any better captures
or
B.) Help on how to fit about five LEDs in such a small space
or
C) help in any other way

I can kind of see this:

[attachmentid=9315]

but it looks a bit "Bitty" :(

Thanks for you help.

Update:

I have made my replica.

I think I've identified the strap as a swatch watch strap:

[attachmentid=9348]

And made a preliminary plan of the top:

[attachmentid=9349]

Making Progress. But has anyone seen a swatch watch that is like the base of this? If it's the strap of one it could be the Base.

i dont remember the member who had it, it did sell, but those are the pics i remember seeing of it....
i doubt there was a "base" it just looks like it was cut from plexi.

The clear Swatch was the inspiration for the QL Wristlink. They used the wristbands but the rest was scratchbuilt.

Ohh right Thanks guys. How do you know this SurferGeek? do you have any more info on it? :D

Thanks veryy much.

A few years ago I read a posting online from the prop guy that actually made the piece. The image I posted came from elsewhere. He used the bands but the rest was fabricated from scratch. Unlike the handlink, the wristlink had no controls, it just lit up. I don't remember much else but thought it a coincidence as at the time I still had one of those clear Swatchs. ;)

I have completed my Replica Wristlink. It really flashes and is made from acetate and a few lego plates. Here are some pictures :D:

Pretty good. You may want to look at hitting the colored blocks with a little bit of frosted clear coat. It looks like the original one was a little frosted.

Very nice work. Do you have a video of the flashing? I see that you either decided not to use blue or couldn't find any blue plastic/plexi?

Thanks SurferGeek.
I May get a video later
And OOPS. I completely forgot about the blue. :D I have got some blue plastic so I might finish it off. :D
