Cylon Raider

It may not actually be studio scale but it's freakin sweet and big! 15x9x3 with a 10" display height. "Lighting effects will include the scanning/sweeping red LED "eye" and randomly flaring white engine lights; the Raider's lighting system will run off a 12-volt wall-mounted transformer."

Is it just me, or are the wings wonky? It is, indeed, interesting. But, I wonder whether an actual mesh was used to create this...

Unless the photo's are just of a prototype, this is HW's kit in buildup form. It is entirely patterned by hand. It is a very nice model. I'm working on one right now.

(which is disappointing, as I would much rather build it myself, then buy a finished replica...)

Well, my bad. I didn't think it was Kip's, as I had one from his initial run way back. Sold it along to acquire something else, big mistake. The wingtips on the QMx seem uneven, droop on the starboard side, or something. Not knockin', just sayin'.
