Hey Jim, it's great to see you on the BOARDS ! :thumbsup
{IF you know who I am of course.. } :lol
How do you know it's not realistic, and not truthful ? Where are you getting your info from ? I've talked to QMx on email and I've talked with the Prop Master as well, both are saying the same thing, the zat is finished and good to go, it's just taking time to make a full run of them.
These things do take time you know. lol.
For $300 you would think they could include a real center knob. They are $1.20ea. It doesn't have a real switch either.
You'd prefer a real knob even if it may not be accurate, in colour and possibly shape, over colour matched casts off the original prop? The Davies Moulding knob is only what fans without access to the original prop have assumed is accurate, it's black and would need to be cut down, and then painted vs castings from the actual prop...For $300 you would think they could include a real center knob. lots of promises, tired of waiting
Would love some sonic screwdriver news...

Those knobs were made when copyright laws still meant something. Back when you couldn't just use someone elses design and pass it off as your own.
There are no other knobs that look like that.
