QMX New Releases: Trek, Stargate, DW, WH13 PICS PG.2

Qmx can't even get the Mal holsters out. I haven't seen one person post on any of the boards that they've got theirs and that was a paid in full preorder item with an eta ship date of 8/20ish/10. They haven't even sent out any updates about it that I've recieved. Last I emailed them in October they said by the end of november we'd have them.

The biggest thing to doing an rpf zat run would be getting the electonics. I'd settle for just sevo'd with recoil no sound. Dunno if that's something Hyperdyne could do or not for us.
 
My personal opinion: QMx is a way for Andy to get cool toys into his personal collection. Everything else getting released past the prototype stage is cake. Shrug. Can't blame the guy for creating the perfect model to get accurate toys, eh? I would have done it too, if I had the deep pockets and lived in LA.
 
But yet they get mad when somebody else does a run and at a good price, and gets it out... They need to learn from MM
 
I don't believe that QMx has cancelled the Zat. I'm sure they would have said something! As for the links, they updated their site a while back and lost some info, seems like the zat info and vid was part of it. Though you can still find the vid on youtube.

Also, about the Enterprise. QMx posted on facebook that it's due out soon and you can even win one from CBS!

''We're looking at end of Q1 2011. The work is all done, but our brilliant armorer Kenney Palkow has his hands full right now with the Tesla :)''

So we're still getting the zat! yay! lol.
 
Good news on the Zat finally, but bad timing on their part if they do make it end of Q1 2011 that may put it too close still to the collectors due to the 2nd Live Stargate Auction.

Now if they'd just ship out the Mal Holsters that Karl has finished, sent to them, and fulfill their pre-orders.

Not to worry......

End of Q1 2011 means end of Q3 2011, or even Q1 2012. We all know how this works.

Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read on FACEBOOK.


I hope its still done. Trust me, but, that schedule is not realistic, and not truthful. However, far be it for me to get into the middle of anything. Im just saying, dont bet on it.
 
Im sure they are,...but like any new business, it takes a while to figure out WHAT you are doing, and the best way to do it.
 
Someone asked QMx on their FB page if the Abrams Stunt Phaser was still happening. Here's the reply:

yes, it is. In fact, I just put the final touches on the copy for the box. *If* we can beat Chinese New Year, we'll be shipping them in Feb. If not, it'll be March. But they are definitely happening!

How do you know it's not realistic, and not truthful ? Where are you getting your info from ? I've talked to QMx on email and I've talked with the Prop Master as well, both are saying the same thing, the zat is finished and good to go, it's just taking time to make a full run of them.

These things do take time you know. lol.
 
Woot is what I have to say. I just hope the price is decent and its not released right on the Live auctions tail. Hopefully a payment plan too.

I was able to handle the Stunt Phaser at DC. It is incredible in detail and the price they are able to offer it at is amazing.
