The original QMx description was how the hero Zats were for production. Open button, Close button, and fire button that causes a slight 'spit' recoil like it was fired & is shown in one of the SG-1 prop documentaries (season 8ish I think)

Yeah, it's the right colour.

Kinda sad to see the Who licence go to a US company :unsure

Just hope QMX have upped their game. Pretty ambitious prop lines there.

QMX does have a UK branch too. I imagine that's where a lot of the Who stuff will be worked on.

Good "Heritage Gold" color too. :lol

It does if I have to pay big import duties....

As to the Mal gun, it was kinda affordable, but also kinda crappy. That said, I know one of the guys who is working on one of the Who pieces, and have every faith in his talent to come up with something outstanding.

I don't think we should call them "New Releases" until they are actually release.

Until then, it's just another announcement.

Sigh, first MFX, then CT, now QMX? I'm gonna have more screwdrivers then the Doctor himself! Of course if the QMX doesn't have sound I may pass (vibrator? maybe when I get a gf).

Why doesn't the '09 Starfleet Class Ring look closer to the actual rings?! Why can't replica companies get these things right? I know it's an old question, but why does my class ring from this board look more like the real thing than anything licensed? Wow, what crap.

Why in the hell would you make a SONIC screwdriver that vibrates? SOUND ******** it, give us SOUND. It's in the bloody name of the thing.

I think the vibration is to give it more sense of funtionality. After all, sound is vibration. I find it interesting, and hope they don't have sound. Would make a great tourch. :)

Ok, so I'm at comic con right now and got to play around with pieces, the working zat is freKing awesome, battery powered, pops up and retract with ease, the sonic screwdrivers look awesome, very smooth finish and awesome display, the farnsworths are incredibly cool, the idealized version looks alot better than I thought, I think everyone will be happy with it, I'll be picking it up, and the new enterprise and viper are SWEET, but way outs price range, I talked to the guy and the expected release for the zats are very soon, he said there pretty much ready to go.

I'll post pics tonite when I get to the hotel

Did you check the Phaser out? Does it look like the nozzle could be made to swivel or at the very least, turned around so it would have the kill setting engaged?
