Pulse rifle Thompson info needed

That one should fit as it is an M1A1 but i have never seen that brand before.

Matsuo sells upgrade metal rear stocks as the G&P one is prone to breakage being plastic. Also he has a very clever locking mechanism - but it is for the metal airsoft M1a1s.

If it's only going to be a display model there's really no point in buying an Airsoft version.

Thanks.

So what other Thompson replicas fit the G&P kit?

Its not possible to buy a replica un here in the UK without being a member of an airsoft club and attend skermishes. I have no interest in playing such games, so all i can buy is a two tone (painted silly colours) replica.

The Thompson i posted the link to above is the only one i can find here in the UK that is offered in two tone and it seems that only the wood parts or pretend wood parts are painted in bright colours. So this is the one i would go for IF it will work with the G&P conversion kit.

I read that the G&P kit was made exclusively for the Tokyo Marui Thompson so that is what I bought when I got my G&P. It would have been nice to save some money but I did not want to take chances on a bad fit and then later try to return the incorrectly fitting alternate brand of Thompson.

The CYMA Chinese knockoff is an exact clone of the more expensive Marui Thompson.
The mags are even interchangeable. The Marui has a much nicer finish to the metal receiver. The Chinese one is just a flat black.

How is the G&P kit, accuracy wise?

I bought a TM thompson a long time ago with the thought of doing a pulse rifle. At the time, I was going to convert my MiM build, but then I kinda flip-flopped on the idea for a while. I even went so far as to get the metal vent and stock and an accurate sling from a run on the Aliens forum.

So, what do the experts think of the G&P kit, considering I have everything else?

I am no expert but I do own a G&p, and SD and a Matsuo.

The G&P is a little bit bulkier than the other two in the shroud. ALso the rear shroud part is squared off instead of rounded which is inaccurate.

But the G&P kit has everything included and is very sturdy plastic. Overall a good buy as other options are more expensive

I've got myself sorted out with the metal Cyma version now. Thanks for all your advice.

Keith.
