Pulse Rifle kit - any experiences?

Looks like an M1A1 could be used according to the text. You would need to provide a shotgun as well. Not a bad price for the kit either.. I guess??

I'd say the main glaring issue with this kit is that the mag well area is

too wide. Plus, the mag clip is off centered.

If it is resin, I'm sure it could be doctored..

The ad reads "GRP/WM". Does this mean the kit is "General Resin Product" and "White metal"?

I"m wondering how well the SPAS cage and rear stock would hold up if they are indeed white metal. Anyone have any experience with a piece this size in this material?

And I agree with Delmustator, the mag housing is waaaaay too wide, in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies,

Yup, your right about the mag well being wide, compared to the HGC and the Bapty video.

Thing is, ive covereted a PR for, well, ages. The first time i saw Aliens (as well have most PR owners ill wager!).

But for me, if i finally take the plunge and grab one, it has to be able to fire. And being in the UK, that means airsoft (and even thats difficult enough - ill have to source a M1A1 either in bits or with the stock painted a funky colour!)

Given the scarceness of the G & P kit (although there does seem to be a limited reissue looming) this seems the only option of an airsoft PR, that i can afford anyway.

I had emailed G&P recently about their pulse rifle kits. Apparently they are still available but you just need to go through a airsoft retailer. I don't know if it's the version we know, or a "newer" version, but it seems most places have been sold out. Anyone have airsoft retailer connections?
