Pulse Rifle - Anyone know the correct length of Remi 870 barrel??

As the title says!

I am cutting down a Remington 870 (or rather getting a certified gunsmith to do it for me), and need to know the correct length to specifiy.
Could somebody measure theirs for me please???

There is a doc on the quad where Simon Atherton mentions they cut the 870 down to "about 12 inches".
