Just wanted to let people know what a standup and professional Jim is from Hyperdyne. First rate products, best customer service & first rate kinda guy! Hes gone above and beyond on a couple of occasions for me and I just wanted to say THANKYOU JIM!!!(y)thumbsup:thumbsup

I'll have to mirror that comment. I had a silly question about the voice amp a while back(I purchased from someone on another board). And within 15 minutes he e-mailed me back with the answer and the manual attached to the e-mail. :thumbsup I was expecting to wait a day or so for a "form reponse" or just a response with a link to his website.

You beat me to it. I've been thinking about posting a thread like this for awhile. I know NOTHING about electronics. But Jim's R2-D2 sound and light boards were easy to install and they work flawlessly.

A big, well-earned thanks, Jim!

I concur. I bought an excellent set of TOS communicator electronics from him - a great transaction, excellent product. Several sound clips on that baby...

I'll tag in with my praise for his Aliens motion tracker electronics kit. I never imagined that I would be able to have a replica of this item that works pretty much identically as seen in the movie. Simply astounding!! This was my first fully built prop from 90% actual parts and with the electronics package from Jim, it makes it 500% better. Can't say enough.

I'll parrot these comments. I picked up a hyperblade blue kit from him back when they first hit the scene. Everyone can argue over what is the best saber conversion out there, but having tried them all, I can honestly say nothing comes close to Jim's setup. He took a lot of fan feedback and incorporated it in to the second version, and then offered an upgrade offer to those who'd already purchased from him. He is one of the bright spots of propping...

I'll add in my thanks as well. My Ghostbusters rig came alive with his electronics. Thanks.

Got a custom job that needs designing too. Got time for one Jim?

Ditto!

I have always enjoyed working with Jim and proudly have alot of his stuff in many of my projects.

Hey thanks guys! I really appreciate it. I am just happy I am part of this community and can contribute in some fashion. My stuff doesnt do much unless it is surrounded by a great prop - which many people here do much better than I!

I've been lucky enough to make many friends in the community over the years while getting to make some cool things. Cant ask much more than that. :thumbsup

micdavis, yeah I might have some time once I clone myself. :lol I need to get back to you, but feel free to shoot me another email with what you had in mind...

Back to the salt mines for me! :cry

I still marvel at my 1st gen Vortex, the one that takes a whole pouch to hide :lol Thanks Jim.:thumbsup
