I've only been going to the Con since 1985. I think the entire Con would have fit in the Mezzanine level around the escalators.
I waited SO LONG to see the Blade Runner Panel and instead got treated to 1.5 hours of the crappiest audience questions I've ever heard for the movie "300". I mean seriously, when a guy introduced himself as a journalist and then asked the members of the panel who each was and what they did, after they had already been introduced with that information... ?!?!?! UGH! "how did you get your six pack on your tummy for the movie?" WTF! I was so bored with that 300 crap that I left, wondering what happened to the Blade Runner panel... I mean, it was scheduled for that time, but after over an hour, nothing.
Luckily, as I left the hall I ran into Sean Young

Talked to her for a couple minutes, that made it worth it. She looked pretty good, and sounded like she was having fun at the Con.
Also got to spend time with Dave Prowse, Peter & Angie Mayhew, Steve Sansweet, the usuals. Dave seems to have recovered quite nicely from his total hip replacement surgeries. Oh yeah, had a fun surprise of hanging out with Richard Hatch for a little bit too... went over to bug a friend at the BSG fan table, and Richard was hanging out there. He was super tired, and I guess that brings out the strange humor in him, because he was hilarious.
Anywho, have seen lots of RPFers there as well, been great to see everyone! Has been a nice Con for me. But yeah, it's way too crowded.
