Profiles in History Expendables & Hollywood Auction 65 Being held in October

Re: Profiles in History Expendables & Hollywood Auction 63 Being held in October

For the Lee Christmas costume, the middle part of the belt that clicks into place doesn't look like the one Jason Statham is wearing. Also the pistol doesn't look the same. What do you think?

I'd be very careful about comparing the costumes worn in the publicity/marketing shots to the ones worn in these movies. I found several differences when researching the costumes in the last two films.

Can you elaborate or give some examples from the last two films? Were multiple sets worn for the film by the actors? Did they have any wardrobe taggings that specificed what scenes they were worn in?

Isn't that the same Jumanji game that was sold by joejohnstonsketchbook on ebay awhile ago? Looks like the guy who coughed up 60 grand wants it back.

Does Profiles make clear if an item is consigned or obtained through original production source?

All auction houses, including Profiles, Christies, Sotheby's', and others, list auction lots in multiple ways.

The majority of auction items do not include who consigned the item(s), though sometimes when the lot(s) are consigned by a well known person (and they give permission), their name may be included in the auction description.

Thanks, do auction houses usually reveal who are the consignors if the winning bidder requests their identity?

Who told you to watch what you said?

Here's a pic from another forum:

The buttons on Veronica's jacket appear to have a sheen to them...

The horizontal seem lines don't match up spacing wise relative to the button placement.

In the Profiles pic the button is just south of the patch, but in the screen grab, it's the opposite (just north of it)

The button seen here doesn't look cloth covered to me like the one Profiles is auctioning:

I mentioned that here in this thread about the Expendables items and a member suggested what they wore in promo photos might not have been the same on screen, as they wore several sets.

But the same can be said here, perhaps the actors wore a few versions for a few different shoots and the photos you posted just showed one of x set. Unless you are certain only one jacket was worn throughout the film.

Re: Profiles in History Hollywood Auction #65 free PDF and Flipbook now available.

Is Profiles claiming the Lambert is seen on screen?

Re: Profiles in History Hollywood Auction #65 free PDF and Flipbook now available.

It says:

Veronica Crtwrights screen worn signature Lambert crew jacket custom made for production...... Worn thru the later half of the film......

Well here she is about to buy it at the end of the film - patch placement is still off and the buttons appear to be a different material:

I should save you the time. An esteamed member of the mpf did a thorough check of it and did not find it used in the film. Sorry bout that.
