This is large project I have been working on for a while.
The 1/6 Hot Toys Hall of Armor bays normally form a radius when you interconnect them from the factory.
There was no way I could have displayed 13 bays on top of our entertainment cabinet unless I modified them to sit in a straight line.
This was an aggravating process because the wires that interconnect everything are very thin and fragile.
I quickly learned that I had to hot glue the circuit boards and all of the soldered contacts as soon as I took them apart to prevent the thin wires from breaking off.
Then I cut the tops bottoms and backs on my miter saw and table saw

The walls use 3 AA batteries each and it would be pain to keep them all fresh so I hardwired them as well. I just spliced them into the main unit power wire with the twist method and then applied hot glue to the splice to insulate and secure it

Once that was done I attached the wall to the rest of the bay with screws, this made the connection semi permanent but it’s not like I could every sell these.
To keep the weight and length reasonable I decided to do the 13 bay display in 3 sections, a left and right 4 bay unit with a center 5 bay unit.

I use three 4.5 volt converters to power the units and they are plugged into a z-wave outlet that is part of my SmartHome system so I can control it with my smart phone.
