Interesting snippet about the NEW predators.

" but the placement and the direction of the dreadlocks are very different. The classic Predator has that kind of rastarfarian look becuase the dreadlocks coms out the side and sort of spill down over his shoulders, Whereas with our new Super Predator, we sort of re-designed the dreadlocks to make them more streamlined and they actually sweep backwards "

This marries up with not only the concept drawing, but the screenshots we see of him where there is a gap between the head and bio, which does give the look of swept back dreads, and none of the pictures show any sign of sideburn dreds hmmmmm.

me thinks its time to buy some clay.......

A thought just struck me in that we might be looking at the two types of Predators as equivalent to Homo Sapiens vs Neanderthal. Hopefully slightly more balanced than that, because by all accounts a neanderthal teenage girl would kick the ass of most grown men alive today.

The article from the German magazine has this to say about the differences between the two types of Preds we see in the film:

Antal and Rodriguez say that new Predators are a sub-species that have been banned from the regular ones and that they are living on the hunting preserve. They are like the "Hells Angels" of the Predators and they are so evil and sadistic that even the average Predator doesn't want to mess with them.

The reporter also got an exclusive look at the new movie and she said: "Everyone who was waiting for a surprising, exciting and suspenseful old school action movie is going to be really happy with the movie!" She was really impressed with the footage she saw.

as the article states this is looking more and more like the sequel they deserve come to think of it though any movie with a pred in i love haha

sabres for some reason those two or three lines has said more of what i wanted to here for this than any other cheesy analogy they tried to throw at us, "WELL WHY DIDN CHA SAY SO!!" if i hear "ipod vs. cassette tape" or whatever one more time i'll!!... ****** insulting, to be honest... a much more settling and acceptable way of summing this up...

from what i understand the "predator code" was/is the only thing keeping them from completely wiping each other out, they know how powerful they and their technology is, and respect it, and i'll always respect that about them, but i'm totally down with catching a glimpse of some preds gone bad... and watching them abuse their power

It's obvious that these are some bad ass new Predators.

Hell, you can even see Predator skins hanging in their "trophy" area in some of the earlier pics.

That tells ya something, if these things are hunting and skinning other Preds.

"Bad Blood" Predators! Now I really can't wait. It's going to be so so hard not to talk about this after we see it!

I kinda agree with hellonearth, I can't wait to see them abuse their powers and take it to the limit and beyond.

This new movie just seems to get bigger and bigger and bigger. Antal and Rodriguez seem to be pushing it to the max.

After reading the leaked script that turned out to not really be the script at all, I suspected we might be looking at a 'bad blood' style predator. Kept my mouth shut at the time in case people hadn't read it. Also, love that SFX cover shot. He looks pissed.

Where do you see any mold lines on any of those dreads?

I think he's talking about the dread on the right hand side,showing the complete dread bead
theres seems to be a small line above and under the bead.
But I can't say for sure that it's a seam line.

Heard it somewhere before, but again it appears we will only have one new predator face, Mr Super Black will be the only one unmasked. Im guessing that concept pic is going to be failry close, the bio has a big gap before the dreds start.

Yes, we're only going to see one new Pred face...that of the BSP.

We do get to see the "classic" Pred's face as well, of course.
