PREDATORS - MOVIE INFO

Ok... Since I work in the industry, I have been asked by some if I had any word on Predators. Up until recently I haven't. I'm in Louisiana right now working as effects supervisor on a Scifi film. ( I'm shop supervisor for Vincent Guastini) low and behold, the stunt team is from Austin Texas. They... As well as others on this shoot worked on Predators. They all agree that it is gonna be amazing. They said the suits looked great and it was alot of fun to work on. RR was extremely hands on with the film and his chair was closest to monitor ( director is usually closest... As for Nimrods actual role in this film... Probably better to get into that later) although he is well liked. Anyways... Long story short, those involved in the making, are excited.

One phrase has great meaning to me:

"We wanted to reboot the franchise"

Does this mean that Predators is only the beginning?

"He said the classic Predator is a cassette tape and the new Predators are the iPod version."

"So that they are not bulky"

FINALLY!!! [ I know the Wolf was slimmer in both body and armor, but this should be a better look then the AVP "Legion of Doom look"]

I can understand the first AVP Pred's, but what about Wolf? He was bad-ass.

Wolf always get overlooked because AVPR sucked so badly.

That's why if Predators is good, we'll need a solo Wolf movie. Pre-BD face. Where and how did that happen?

thanks for posting so much new info

My main problem with the new predators movie, is that I don´t like the look of the new predators. yup, they still look much better then avp1, but IMO both P1, P2 and AVP r had better predators. sure they might grow on you when you watch the movie and I do like they idea that they look different because they are another clan, I just kind of miss the netting and the more slim bios.
sounds like AVP r had a crappy storyline, but a perfect predator (IMO), and predators has a cool story line, but worse predatos.
when you watch the trailer, The "classic" predator does not look right to me, there are some thing about the mouth area that looks WAY different then the orginal P1. maybe the mouth opens to much

?, but again if its not suppose to be the one from P1, then I guess I can live with that.

I agree wolf is badass no doubt but you get to see to little of him in the movie imo

In that link above, it does say that they might have altered the look, but Idk for sure. You will have to check it would.

A solo wolf movie does sound sweet.
