OK, now I'm upset...
I just read that "story" and I'm not impressed. Maybe it's because I've never read a screen play before. Maybe it's because I see the patterns too often. Maybe I'm just a little loco. Maybe I expect too much.
I really hope they don't intend on recycling dialog like that. That sort of stuff just gets under my skin, crawls around and only stops to poke a tubule out to breath. That just shows a lack of imagination and ownership of a new story. That "story" would make a great low budget fan film though. I'm scared that they won't put any money into it and thats what we'll get.
Still, I'm hopefull that we'll get a great film to generate some renewed interest

To be quite fair... the screenplay for P1 reads like **** too IMO. I don't know how producers can see anything in stuff like that. Turned out fine, though, didn't it?

I honestly don't think Brody can stand up to a bunch of Predators, but I'm curious how this will play out in the end of the movie.

Ok I've read a bit of the script(Not up to bsp yet) but I like the predator dogs.Hell might be a suit if I could ever see any pics of one.

I remember something like this happening on more then one situation. You have alot of fans make fan made stories/drawings/concepts or what have you and when someone from the company comes across it they have all the legal right to use it with out giving a credit or a nod towards the orginal maker of said work. Is this moral or just in any way? no, but sadly thats how it goes sometimes.

Just stumbled upon these over at the forum on avpgalaxy.net...talk amongst yourselves. It looks like they are going back to winston's original face style. The designs are definitely different.

About time, love the look of the preds from what we can see. I count 4 so far I'm more excited now can't wait for the summer.

There we have it - the first pics from the set!
First impressions:
-Bios are not looking too exciting, but then maybe a closeup will show more detail. The left one looks interesting. Not sure if thats bone on the lower half, the Preds jaw, or just a two-toned Bio. The middle Bio looks too flat - like there is no mouth area. The one on the right looks like it has teeth or tusks? Meh, but the face looks like it could be cool
-The Predator in the background looks an awful lot like Scar from AVP?!
So I'm not blown away, but these pics are blurry and very small. We're going to start seeing more pics leak in as we get closer to the spring/summer. Whoo hoo! I'm still excited!!
