PREDATORS - MOVIE INFO

This film is gonna kick ass..I think these preds look cool..wait till you see the others. KNB + troulblemaker studios = awsomeness.

AWWWWSSOOOOOMMMEEE

Was wondering when my boy Pete was gonna chime in here. Good talking to ya the other day BTW. Ha.. maybe you aren't done making preds yet!

as much as i want more pics, i really don't. taktarov better lay off the ****!

guys i've summed up all the evidence we have of this film so far (script, pics, etc.) which i couldn't bring myself to read the script till last week, and if we would've had the cast from AVPR or something similar doing it, it would be another **** flingin fest by the end, but we've got all the components for a good, even great movie, and i am ****** STOKED!!

i'm sorry if it's been laid down like this before in this thread, but we've all got to understand that THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER P1. i wish it wasn't true , but none of us will ever have that unbelievable moment of seeing a predator for the first time again, unless maybe if it's basically looked at from a completely different angle and i think that's what RR is trying to do. the fact that these super predators are the main preds in the film, yet we still have an awesome part for our beloved original style pred, it tells me that this could be a new beginning for where this franchise is going. the potential IS there (although i know that was never really in question:)

i know some of you are not too thrilled about the new designs, and most of you are scared to death that he's gonna ruin this film. predator dogs and falcons?!?!?! well, i think this is just trying to show, not that "our" predators would ever use such vices, but that this almost mutant predator race has a different view of hunting, doesn't have the same "code of honor" that more importantly has no respect for their "inferior" brothers, and are even more filled with a primal need to hunt and kill, almost for no reason, instead of only hunting the armed and equal, they need the smell of blood in the air. almost seams like a group of "bad bloods" (and again im sorry if anyone has already mentioned that) which makes them pretty intimidating to me, i almost feel like we can relate even less with these creatures, but overall is a feeling i think it needs. i think we've gotten a little too comfortable in the recent past of preds lovin on humans IMO.

in P1 we saw one kind or one example of the race of which that pred comes from, in P2 we got to see a hint of another race, if not more than one other race of preds, and in this one, well we have this maybe even more so technologically advanced, black blooded, abominations of the predator world!! . i think RR and crew (whoever involved with writing or revising the script) has done a very clever thing here, he's totally renewed the vision of what a predator movie is or could be, he's given us all the things that we love about watching a pred movie without just coming up with the same scenario, different setting, and i think he'll be able to work these differences in there (although we still don't know where these mutants came from, but part of the magic, to a degree, is not knowing every little thing, like the "crucified" one? that's so awesome to me) but he's showing us that the predator world goes much deeper than we may have considered before. i wanted "outside the box" for this and i think thats where it's going. all that on top of a cast of seasoned actors, should be a damn good film!!! as long as they get those preds to act right the script does hint to the idea that "this is not your fathers predator" and that they are a very different animal, but they'd still better act like they, at least, know how they should act and modify that a little if they have to.

so ya, smile pred fans!! this isn't another AVP!!!

You should probably check out the 1,007 post thread about 5 threads down...there's a lot more where they came from.

...i actually got a little excited when i first seen the title of this post...and then i clicked and seen the pictures lmao, same ones from before...damn

Imo , they look more like desert predators rather than jungle predators .
I'd agree with that. But remember that the color in these pics is off because quality and back lighting. Those colors may be more green (or drab) then we can tell. The clearer pics make them look darker and more brown, more appropriate for jungle then tans and light browns.

I get a kick out thinking about desert preds.

Today I went to a clay and supplies store, I wanted to buy medium chavant clay, but the guy told me they were out of medium because the guys making the new predator movie bought all of it grrrr. As most of you guys know they are filming here in Austin, I just thought that was pretty neat to hear and I just wanted to share my highlight of the day with my fellow hunters.

So close, yet so far away!!!

Uh... KNB is located in Los Angeles... The suits were built there

AS mentioned earlier the pred's feet look stupid. I was hoping it was just the quality of the pick, but they look like puddles or goo...and man I hope Topher's character gets it good. Other than that I'm gonna try to be optimistic.

ADI moved their shop to the Czech republic when filming ADI, most of the finishing touches are done locally. So yeah, I think it's quite credible.

actually, besides the fact I know they were built in LA.. They were first shot in Hawaii befor heading out to Troublemaker.
Also... The studio would have all supplies delivered on account from the supplier.... Not popping into the local store and cleaning out thier clay
