BTW, i was never intending to bash half-knife for being a massive trek fan. it'd be dumb, lol. I'm a huge predator and transformers fan. I love to see fans be passionate about what they love. My whole point was not to pass judgement until you've seen something more concrete, like with this movie. And if you don't like it, thats gravy and its your opinion just don't attack others who did like it. And i, as much as the next person, am completely torn with what they did to the creature and movies with this recent barrage of complete **** known to us as AVP movies. THE ONLY possitive to come out of it was Ian White and his transformation into the creature.
Lets just see what comes next before we start setting **** on fire, lol.

Now the sadest thing about this mini update is this.
" The good news is 20th Century Fox, who is known for ruining films by getting over-involved, will be keeping out of this reboot.
"Predators" will be shot in his home state of Texas on a lean budget and so far removed from Hollywood that it is doesn't get run through the often bruising machinery of the studio."
Fox are apparently keeping out of it by only giving RR a "LEAN BUDGET".
anyone got some more nails for this franchises coffin?
i hope this is BS, as i cannot help but get my hopes up, but they take a severe kick in the undercarriage when i read crap like this.

Anyone know if the leaked screenplay is real? I've got a copy in pdf form [lost orginal link] I've read a bit but stopped incase it's the real deal.

I dare say the old script will go through some major changes. hopefully we will hear somthing new soon, even if it is just a few cast members.

and POLITELY opine that perhaps this currrent script will kill the cash cow and if they put some effort and money into it that could make something that would really be something to be proud of. you could suggest they take a quick look at the feelings on fan forums such as this and avpgalaxy etc. it might work. it might not. what's to lose except a couple minutes of your time?

I said what I had to say on the subject. If you can't or won't understand it and still feel the need to keep re-hashing it, that's on you. I'm done with it. I stated my position and it will not change. As far as bringing you "enlightenment", it is somewhat evident that you wouldn't know it if you saw it. So keep arguing with yourself and maybe you can make you see whatever point you want you to see. Have fun. Maybe you should take charge, there are quite a few "Austin Powers" fans out there somewhere. Maybe you could name it "Predator Powers, Extraterrestrial Asswipe".

I'm also just waiting for whatever gets leaked. Whatever they do, if they start posting screenshots, I hope they don't post spoiler pics like they did with AVP-R. The one with Wolf and Chet locked together in their death throes shouldn't have been posted prior to the film coming out.

And therefor our voice will never be heard, Treat the people behind the film well and they may do the same for us also. Wish hell/cancer and whatever other awfull things on them and they will quite rightly take this board with a pinch of salt.

Whoever was in charge of the hype train and the leaking of photos (believe me, that **** doesn't get misplaced or accidentally leaked, they have people that do it on purpose to hype the film) should be shot in the shoulder and thrown into the ocean. Revealing the two creatures fate months before the movie came out was classic stupidity and a great example of how bad the business has gotten.
Can't wait for the next bit of news and i'm glad to hear that Fox will take its overdeveloped hands off of the project for the time being and let the talent work on it. Fox, go away!

then i guess that's a sad situation then isn't it, reflecting on us all. seems to be an internet thing, if you dislike something you've *got* to rail about it in the most violent and swear-laden way so people will realise what a huge fan you are, like it matters. i'd assume people at Fox are the same as most people - speak to them like a man and you'd get more attention than if you mouth off like a spoiled bitch.
