I've been slacking on updating my blog lately, but certainly not due to lack of progress. All this has been rectified as of this evening. Three days of building have been logged, and I still haven't done the update for today's build.

So please check out the R2 Blog Page and let me know what you think.

I've gotten some really nifty stuff done lately, including a battery harness I'm quite proud of. And though not pictured, I beleive I'm FINALLY on the right track with my inner dome. I have pictures for the blog entry on the 20th, but it hasn't gone up yet.

Thanks again to everyone who has been reading, supporting, and emailing questions and comments.

Thank you sir. At least you can't say your work goes unnoticed or unappricated (sp?). I enjoy reading these at work to keep me entertained.

Cool deal bro. I'm here to help :)

I added a new video in today's blog entry. nothing terribly exciting, but it lights up...

Man that thing is bright. Now I have a question, if you hardwired a button to turn it on and off once it is installed into R2 how do you plan to turn it on and off? I would have thought you would have rigged some nifty remote control device that you could switch it on and off wirelessly. Maybe I am missing something but wouldn't it be way cooler for that light to just turn on by magic rather then you haveing to open a hatch or door or something and turn it on and off?
