Here is what I did today on this-- I am going to do some sculpting onto the shaft and the handle also as well as the aluminum pole parts-- This was just starting on the decorating and customizing part.

Dude, the retract is cool! Love the "hahaha" at the end. Markings look pretty sweet, too.

Mine is as well after looking at some of the pictures--was great to brainstorm.

Here are some updates-- Working on the shaft here-- Took some actual snakeskin and did a mold of it. then cast it in black resin and wrapped it in different areas on the shaft. Used real snakeskin on the handle on the top where the release button and handle are.
Did some sculpting work and added the stones and cables.
Still have a bit more to do and then on to the painting and finishing. Going to do some work on the aluminum shafts also so it looks more ancient and not so modern looking. Then I have to decide on a tip to put on it. Whats great is there is a screw on tip so I can make interchangeable ones.
