I've got all my figures, and unfortunately, I had to use the internet. The Toy's R US's around here just flat suck. I seriously spent an entire day driving around to the many different ones in my area... only to be disappointed at each store. Super **** lame.
Anyways, the figures themselves are just awesome! The sculpts and proportions are fantastic. The paint, eh, not so much. I knew they wouldn't be top-notch, but I can always repaint them. Hell, at least they resemble the characters' patterns. The McFarlane figures weren't even close. Not to mention that their "blah-biddy-blah points of articulation" were USELESS on a figure that'd been sculpted in a pose already. What the **** are points of articulation going to do in that situation? "Oh, perhaps I could move his arm a bit this way. OH! I can always cock his head of the side a bit! Oh, holy **** I can't believe I bought these. I will sleep in my bed of tears tonight." Also, I do not have a problem with my NECA figures standing on their own... even with loose feet joints. So, suck on that, Todd. Not to mention, that McFarlanes figures were just as expensive back in the day as the NECA figures are now. So, I figure that a huge win. Also, with their popularity, I hope that the larger versions are released. That would be the icing on the cake for me. Because, ya know, I need more **** crowding my living space. Bring it on, NECA!!!!!
